News Pulse aggregates world and business coverage from major outlets on every full analysis cycle. The same articles feed the media and conflict signals inside the World Tension Index, so what you read here is literally what the engine read to score the day.
How News Pulse ranks the world
The same stories the engine reads. Every headline here came in through the 41 public feeds our engine reads on each full cycle. Nothing is hand-picked. The score next to each story is the tension weight the engine gave it: conflict, energy, trade and finance words count; celebrity and sport do not.
How to read the score. Above 75 is an extreme-tension story, usually a strike, an attack or a market shock. 55–74 is high. Below 35 is background. The category chips show which factor of the World Tension Index the story feeds.
Why it is useful. It shows you the raw material behind today’s number. If the score moved and you want to know why, the top three stories are almost always the answer.
