For a single index or month use the page URL you took the number from, e.g. worldtensionmeter.com/energy-security/history/2026/09/.

Versions and caveats

Engine versions. The engine is versioned (now v4.4.2); every release is dated in the changelog. Numbers carry the version of the engine that computed them.

Calibration note. Scores on or before 2026-07-23 came from the first-generation engine, which ran on a higher calibration than today's. Compare within a period, or read the monthly stories, before comparing across that date.

Estimated fields. When a market feed is unavailable the engine uses its last known value and flags it. The flags are in every API response (estimated_fields).

Coverage. World Tension from 2026-03-23; most sub-indexes from 2026-04-04; Crypto Fear & Greed from 2026-07-23; AI Risk and the derived indexes from 2026-09-17 (derived indexes are back-computed to April from their components).
